dragon personality: Catty, feline, easily bored, changes her mind with every passing breeze, very particular. Is seen as particularly desirable because she's solid colored (an attitude a lot of riders have passed on to their dragons) and so she's always much-pursued during mating flights. I wanna say she's particularly large and athletic for a Green, making those flights even more of an event. She never chooses the same mate, and she never has to. (Tho I think it would be fun to have her become besotted with some particular dragon and sticking him with that rider)
basic appearance: Blue eyes, blonde hair, absolutely desirable, and he knows it.
primary personality traits: Bordering on vain, cocky asshole. He's handsome and he knows it, and preens over the fact that he Impressed a solid colored dragon, especially come mating time, where Tbouridath is more pursued than her bleached or piebald equivalents. He is typically just as pursued, and makes a career out of hopping from bed to bed. Even in the sexually & romantically lax environment of the Weyr, his heart- and bed-breaking ways still raise some eyebrows. He has a short attention span and shorter temper. The only being he has a true attachment to is his dragon, whom he adores, as all riders do.

relevant history: B'til (born Barentil) originated at one of the Holds (idk which one, someone needs to make it) that still held the Weyr in high regard and considered it an honor for their children to be selected on Search. Then Barentil was seventeen at the time, a late age for Impression, but there had been too few Hatchings for him to be picked up as a kid. He knew enough about the Weyr to have all the rumors taken to heart - bleached dragons were an abomination and a plague upon the Weyr, they were to be rooted out and replaced by 'proper' dragons, or dragons as they once were. And so when he hit the hatching grounds and Impressed solid Green, his life became one of smug triumph. He gloried in all aspects of the Weyr--the drinking, the practicing for Threadfall that would never come during his lifespan, the mating flights, the revolving door of weyrmates, and the increasing subjugation of the Holds.
-Other early stuff - when he reached Tazum as a candidate he befriended Mehalen, a weyrbrat who was a few years younger. Mehalen was 13, he was 17. Barentil lorded it over Mehalen because he was older, and Mehalen lorded it over Barentil because he was Weyrbred, but ultimately that made them equals, and Barentil began to see him as a little brother. Teasing him, backing him up against other weyrbrats, teaching him skills from the hold (idk knife throwing???) and Mehalen taught him all the secrets of the Weyr. When B'til Impressed, he was sent out to do all the duties Greens do, and every time he spent a significant time back he was like 'wtf you grew like 5 inches I s2g'. He's pretty hype for his 'little brother' to Impress so they can fly together.
relevant views on current events: He believes in restoring the glory of the Weyr. He still belittles bleached dragons, although time has shown that pigmentation, madness, and infertility are not correlated as clearly as was originally thought. He has immense respect for his Weyrleader bordering on blind obedience and interprets any questioning of S'ris's authority as mutinous speech.
