communal baths Pretty diversely divided up. There are smaller personal baths, and two larger pools, one for men and one for women, all areas politely cordoned off behind the rock walls. Water is steaming hot, deep, and there's abundant sweet sand and oil for anyone who needs it. Separate rooms offshoot on the ways in and out where you can grab a towel, leave and retrieve your clothes, and miscellaneous drab garb anyone can grab on their way out if their clothes came in ruined. |

dining hall - 1 Viewing Communal and informal. Food is pretty grab-and-go, since people are often busy, and generally only gather to eat in large groups when there's a special occasion (Nameday celebration, Hatching celebration, etc). Drunken fistfights break out once in a while and liven things up. Riders of all ranks and weyrstaff eat on equal terms at no specific tables, though like tend to mingle with like. |

general quarters Quarters for upper weyrstaff who work more directly with the riders and the dragons, who play more of a role in organizing livestick in the feeding grounds, or preparing sands for a Hatching, or measure riders for their riding leathers, etc. Sometimes these are the quarters of men or women who failed to Impress but stuck around as lovers of resident dragonriders. |
