Offering the smaller woman the mug of klah, Vesadi offered a kind smile before stepping back. She saw the way the two moved about each other, more she saw the protective nature of Tsulain over the smaller woman. There was no threat from Vesadi toward the smaller woman, so removing herself from the woman's side seemed the safer and wiser choice.
She listened to the short, clipped, venom-filled words Tsulain offered Rogatis and it made her curious. Granted, she knew nothing save what Rogatis told her and she figured there were things she was leaving out, but why such venom, such hate? It seemed the Weyr truly wasn't a place many wanted to be taken to anymore. Had she made the wrong choice in agreeing to come here?
When attention turned on her, she regarded the young woman carefully. "I am the second daughter of a Lord Holder. Our Hold is small but not far from Baron Hold. When Lord Sellen of Baron Hold called for a third wife, I answered," she offered, leaving out quite a bit of information but not knowing anyone well enough to call friend, she wasn't about to just go around sharing her life story. Instead, she was prepared to wait and watch. "It's doubtful our paths have ever crossed, Lady Tsulain. I tended to stay far from prying orbs if anyone ever visited my father's Hold."
