Where understaff and drudges work to process tithes, cook and provide meals, prepare and mend clothing and flying gear, and generally provide for the riders of the Weyr. Largely candlelit and tucked away in the lowest tunnels of the Weyr. Place of work and for weyrbrats to get intro trouble exploring.

Sub-boards: communal baths, dining hall, general quarters

Each dragon and rider have a personal weyr, complete with a gaping hole which opens to the sheer cliffside of the Weyr. These weyrs are impassable except by dragonflight. Weyrmates may share quarters. These contain your usual amenities: hot baths, room for an enormous dragon to nap, a food delivery system that doesn't require interacting with another human being, and a place for a worn out rider to pass out.

The Hold that has historically produced for Thomos Weyr.

Lord Holder: Dorael

The Hold that has historically produced for Uther Weyr.

Lord Holder: Locybis (NPC)

The Hold that has historically produced for Oyba Weyr. As a northerly Hold, it produces mainly livestock, which it sends by caravan and in mass herds to the Weyr. They continue to tithe and to send candidates willingly and are on good terms with Tazum considering their circumstances. They keep up the old traditions and hope that one day the Weyrs will be successfully repopulated and life on Pern will return to normalcy.

Lord Holder: Bellerat (NPC)

Traditionally supplied Isa Weyr. Located by the sea, largely relies on fishing. Once known for its skilled weavers, though many of the craft have died or fled since the collapse of the Weyrs.

Nezehm is situated on a cliff overlooking the sea and, downhill of it, a jungle. This hold is known for growing copious amounts of klah and redfruit, one of the few holds on the Continent that do so. The hold itself is made of basalt-like stone and the living chambers are within the cliff, with windows carved out of the cliffside and precarious-looking emergency stairs leading to the sandy beach below. A banner of a golden feline on a maroon field waves proudly atop the tallest watchtower.

Lord Holder: Rhiannon

Sub-boards: shores, croplands, feast hall, secret tunnels, drudge quarters, meeting chamber, lord's quarters

Not really respected as a 'hold', but one of the few safe places for holders these days. It's tucked away in seaside caves and hidden by the tides. The people here have strong relationships with the fire lizards that nest in the rocks and high beach sand, so they always have a warning if outsiders are coming. They do well living off of fish and edible seaweed. A small and almost inaccessible community.

Lord Holder: Rosinion (NPC)

The southernmost Weyr, which lies at the tip of a small peninsula. Was named for its annual meetings of all the Weyrleaders and Weyrwomen during Passes. They would gather in an immense hall around a (you guessed it) round table, ornately carved out of solid rock. The table still stands, and so do its runes and delicately cut icons of dragons and riders, but the Weyr itself is empty.
