Basic Appearance: Face upturned, brows arched, Aquilla regards with heavy-lidded eyes and a casual, intimidating stare. She exudes luxury and royalty, even in such a harsh environment, by body language and expression alone. (Though, the gold accessories she decorates herself with certainly do not hurt.) In build, she is lean, and not very tall, but it does not hinder her ability to be uncannily intimidating. Dark skin, long dreadlocks often adorned with rings, thick eyelashes.
Primary Personality Traits: The word that comes to mind is regal, inside and out. She is narcissistic, believing that she is better than most, but of course would never admit it. She quietly revels in (read: gets off on) the pain of those who wrong her or her people, whom she is fiercely protective of. Unprovoked, Aqilla maintains her poise, is reasonable and approachable, but when provoked, she does not hesitate to unleash hell. She has a short fuse and does not tolerate being screwed with, save for teasing jokes that she enjoys sharing between friends (aka: Joa). She makes the hoard mildly uneasy, thus keeping them in line and following Joa’s rules, but she isn’t distrusted. In fact, Aqilla has shown that she has a soft side, especially when dealing with young girls, and tends to go easier on the hoard’s female members.
She does not engage in violence often, preferring to keep her hands clean and rather use others to do her dirty work for her. When she is violent, she uses things such as poisons, stealth, and well-placed knives to get the job done. The unwitting target rarely, if ever, survives because she is quick and deadly, reminiscent of a viper. She does not care about witnesses, in fact preferring if someone watches so they know that her threats are real.
