It
was supposed to be a good day. Hatchings are always such exciting
events and with so many eggs on the sands, how could it not have been
so?

Except, it wasn’t.

Dragonriders have died, murdered
by a mysterious source. Fort has moved against Kitaro, rallying its
allies to protest on Kitaron sands, only to end up with bloodshed that
resulted in Fort’s Weyrleader dead and Kitaro’s Weyrleader injured.

Wher
eggs will soon be on the Sands awaiting candidates to bond with while
golden Aywith has risen for her maiden flight. Problem is, as the
problems escalate, no one knows who to trust.

After all, in a Weyr of criminals and outcasts, could you really have trusted anyone from the start?
