relevant history:
Tesis was abandoned as an infant and was adopted/fostered by a childless couple – a smith and his wife who was a
healer. She was a very quiet child, very observant. Her adoptive parents thought she would grow up to be a healer, but she surprised them both by becoming interested in the usually male-dominated smithcraft. Her prowess with a hammer left very little to be desired in that department. She recently became a Journeywoman Smith and has her eye on a Mastery in a few more turns.
