So AIVAS was right that we could knock the Red Star out of our orbit freeing us from Threadfall forever, it worked great and so we celebrated, however what AIVAS didn’t tell us was the consequences of doing so as you see we knocked the Red Star close to Rukbat our sun blocking it from our World.
Things were great for awhile as Thread no longer fell, but then our World started turning cold as the Red Star now blocked Rukbat from us; with the help from a Dragon Candidate 8 fully established Weyr’s and one new Weyr left our World as an Ice Age started taking over.
9 Weyr’s as well as Crafters, staff, Candidates, and Holders all left Pern behind on Spaceships bound for the World that our Ancestors originated from a planet called Earth; many of us believing that Earth was just a myth a World made up by Harpers long ago, but after a short 6 hour trip we arrived on the World that was now to be our home. We brought as many seeds as we could of things from our World including Klah seeds.
On Earth the 9 Weyr’s settled into land that was given to each Weyr by the Leaders of Earth spreading out to different locations on Earth 2 of our Weyr’s taking to a place called Alaska because they were from our Northern Continent on Pern. At the same time our Leader’s asked permission to search children of Earth for Dragon Clutches.
8 Mutation Weyr’s made the trip and a single Traditional Weyr came too; Cairo Weyr as the Traditional Weyr became known as settling in Cairo Egypt. Many Weyr’s taking new names while others kept their original one.
A call goes out now for Candidates as Las Vegas Weyr brought with them 3 Dragon Clutches which are now hardening on the Sands; Candidates are sought from all over our new World, will you accept search? Are you one of our Riders who came from Pern with us?
