Okay so here are some character types we need to fill in: (And yes you are encouraged to create more than one character. Do as many as you can handle just try to diversify the types you're playing.)
-Lord Holders: Holds currently empty are Uther, Oyba, Genghi, Isa, Round Table, and Cove.
-Children and wives of the Lord holders.
-A handful of S'ris's allies/older dragon-riders (median age 50) who are very traditional, hard-assed, can be some women in there (prob riding infertile dragons), probably Bronze and Brown riders. These are his pals who go Way Back, probably participated in his coup against his father. We only have one of these so far.
-Younger dragon-riders of varying colors, sexes, and roles. Some are going to be bullies who go harass the Holds, some are going to be seekers of candidates (for the approaching hatching), some are out hunting and fishing and shit. A lot of these have piebald or fully bleached dragons and have faced varying stigma for this.
-Specifically looking for Green and Brown riders, especially Green.
-Candidates for the hatching. Your candidate character has a good chance of being injured (I won't kill them without your permission, I'll kill NPCs, but I'll roll the dice on some type of injury), they might end up with a dragon that's a little deranged, and they might end up with an infertile dragon so they're relegated to other tasks and actual plot points aside from dramatic romance and mating flights. Keep in mind that a number of candidates have been openly abducted or nearly-forced from their homes to go to the hatching and are probably angry and afraid for their lives.
-Ravager leaders, their followers, and their general crew.
-Scavenger leaders, their followers, and their general crew. WE DON'T HAVE ANY OF THESE YET.
-Misc people who work in Holds and in the Weyrs (people who handle runnerbeasts, watch-whers, who clean, who cook, who play music, who make crafts and clothing and leather harnesses and so on).
