Primary Personality Traits: Like his dragon, nothing really brings Ash'yi down. He is typically smiling, even when being hit in the face during a drunken brawl over the color . . . or lack of . . . of his dragon during the late hours of a meal. In his hearts of hearts, he does get angry but what good would it do? Oeemyth is the way she is and he would change nothing of it. So instead, he steals his mind and his heart to the word and actions, as long as they are against him. Faranath help the Rider who dares speak a word of ill intent to Oeemyth. He has put a few Riders in the Infirmary and earned himself a name for standing up for his dragon. The one thing Ash'yi can't stand is the ill treatment of Candidates. Yes, he understands that Candidates are needed for the eggs and he would bring them to the Weyr no matter what, having seen young dragons go mad because Their's wasn't there, but that doesn't mean he mistreats or lies to take a Candidate. The same cannot be said for kidnapping, though he feels horrible afterwards.
Relevant History: Ash'yi is Weyrborn, Tazum Weyr actually. He stood beside many a Weyrbrats running after their Rider mother's or father's trying to see what they might grow up to be. When he was fourteen, he fell in love with a handsome young lad. They stood shoulder to shoulder on the Sands at their first Hatching. Ash'yi walked off the Sands with a nasty gash to the thigh that would heal with time, his love never walked off the Sands. At 17, He Stood again and this time he stood by no lover, no one to worry about save himself. He was half dragged half carried off the Sands that day by a pale white dragon with green tinted orbs who named herself Oeemyth. She had sliced from right shoulder down to the end of his last left rib and nearly opened him up completely, but that wound also healed with time and they grew and bonded.
Walking through life as a Bleached Greenrider wasn't easy. Ash'yi and Oeemyth almost didn't make it through Weyrlinghood. On to many occasion she was persecuted because of the lack of pigment on her hide. Ash'yi fought often and hard and eventually people got the hint; leave the Bleached Green and Her's alone or suffer. However, when the time came for Oeemyth and he to graduate, they did and he asked to remain at Tazum Weyr. It was his home and even Oeemyth was in agreement, they both were to loyal and to attached to Tazum Weyr and it's people to leave because of the color of her hide. He knew that he and Oeemyth would walk a hard life but they were prepared and dedicated to the Weyr. For so many Turns, Oeemyth and Ash'yi have been a fixture at the Weyr. He has aided with the arrival of Candidates, Searched and brought a few to Stand and buried a few more than he cares to mention but he knows each of their names and faces by heart. He and his Bleached Green can always be counted on to bring a smile or volunteer so another can rest or heal.
Relevant Views on Current Events: Ash'yi was a child when the uprising happened. He learned through his teachings that S'ris did what he had to do and while he may not agree with all that had been done, he was loyal to Tazum Weyr. He will always stand with his Weyrleader and Weyrwoman and protect the Weyr.

Other: Looking around the Weyr you will notice those Riders with a name change due to Impressing all had similar placements of the change. Oeemyth informed Ash'yi right away his name would be different due to her Bleached color.

Dragon Personality: Despite how the Weyr views her, Oeemyth is a very kind and sweet Green. She is warm and often enjoys sitting and attempting to comfort those Candidates that will come around her, though she often sits from afar and watched just as much. She has a special spot in her heart for all things children, Ash'yi's the most whether they be of his blood or a product of Search. Seeing as she is a Bleached dragon, she is met with disdain and hate about the Weyr. Rarely does she look others, human or dragon, in the eyes seeing as most hate her for her green tinted orbs that don't spin with the emotion hidden behind. She is as fiercely loyal to Ash'yi as he is to her. Let another lay a hand on him or against him, and she has no issue raising to the occasion to protect him. She may lack the stature of a colored dragon, but she makes up for it in being a slightly larger Green with a big voice.
