She matured at an extreme rate and has risen to mate once every turn, an excessive amount for any Queen, especially one so young and especially during a Long Interval, but has produced no clutches. So far this has been ascribed to her immaturity, and it's hoped that when she is genuinely mature she will begin to lay. Some believe that her mating flights are too turbulent for proper clutching (most Pernese believe that the longer a flight/the physical mating occurs, the bigger the clutch will be, and in Cath's case the flights are long but the actual mating is brief. dragon personality: Vampiric. She's not 'vain' or any gold clichés, but she is ravenous--for attention, for sex, for food, for anything that isn't hers but should be. She is very much a Queen at heart, by all definitions, and believes that she owns and deserves everything around her. She is fiercely jealous of Vitella and despises anyone who is close to her, which turns out all right, since Vitella alienates most people with her compatible personality. Her rider is the only thing that can control her, the only thing that keeps her from wreaking violence and destruction on a regular basis. Even so, she has wrecked her personal weyr when she decided it was too small.
In mating flights she is notorious for injuring and even maiming her suitors. Any Bronze or Brown that has risen to mate with her bears raking scars. She becomes enraged whenever a dragon attempts to mate that she deems unworthy (too small, too young, etc) and will physically attack them. She has mutilated one or two to the point where they can no longer fly. Most notable was Uisbeth, the Bronze of S'hyd, the son of Weyrleader S'ris. She tore out his eyes shortly into the mating flight. Two Bronzes had to abandon the flight to help him reach the ground safely. Only Brown Suleth had the vigor to contain and then catch her.
basic appearance: She has black hair, completely straight, long, and relatively plain in its lack of styling. She is objectively very beautiful, but flat in the eyes, and lacks expression. When she is expressive, she often appears suspicious or lofty, as though she's above human interaction. Dull gray, hazel eyes. She is slim, sometimes seeming dangerously slow, because she forgets to eat if she isn't constantly doted upon by weyrstaff.
primary personality traits: Blank. Does not have friends (subject to change with rp plotting?), takes no lovers except for her weyrmate H'lain, and they are weyrmates only technically, as they have no intimacy outside of mating flights. She is not cruel or kind except through inaction. She is a deeply internal person; she sees no need to confide in another human being, she sees no need for other human beings except as servants and sexual partners. She is matched completely to her dragon. After being totally isolated as a child, having no human companions, and then seamlessly attaching to another being as she has attached to Cath, fulfills her need for love and companionship completely.
She is cooperative and has learned to do her duties as a junior weyrwoman and Queen rider, and she prevents Cath from being a complete agent of chaos, but she's definitely not someone you would trust as Weyrwoman.

-was not raised well - She was the daughter of a Lord Holder (not sure which Hold) who kept her locked away in essentially a well-furnished dungeon to hide her from the dragonriders. Got very little socialization, knew only close family members and servants. She was dressed well and taught proper ladylike behaviors, was trained to be refined, in the hope that when she aged out of candidacy that she could be married away. A naturally quiet child, it's hard to tell how much of her isolated upbringing contributed to her peculiar nature, and how much was ingrained in her from birth.
-Dragonriders raided the Hold when there was a golden egg on the sands, as they were raiding all Holds looking for Impressionable girls. She was one of many that was taken away, but her taking was considerably more traumatic than others, because she knew no world but her small rooms. She was plunged immediately into a world she knew nothing of. Having been told stories of vicious dragons, and rapacious dragonriders, she had everything to fear. In the face of such terrors she shut down completely. The rider who searched her found her silence unnerving. The weyrstaff had to practically dress her themselves, and if they hadn't made sure she had eaten, she would have wasted away. They had to comb her hair, bath her, and address all her needs, as she regressed to a near childlike state. Most assumed that she would not Impress as she displayed absolutely no traits that were thought to draw a Queen.
-hit the Hatching Sands at 20. When the golden egg hatched, for a moment everyone thought they had a solid Gold, but then the hatchling turned her head to display her now infamous white eye and the white masking covering half of her face. The infant queen clawed her way out of the egg and immediately snapped her jaws shut on the head of a barely pubescent male candidate. She advanced across the sands casually snatching at candidates, taking chunks out of torsos and removing arms and legs, turning the Hatching into a bloodbath quicker than anyone could even think to intervene. When she made a beeline for the female candidates, many of them fled. Only Vitella remained, with her characteristic lack of expression, and the dragonet came to a messy, sliding stop in front of the slim girl and Impressed with a trill of joy that was hideous in the context of the blood on Cath Sands.
